Application description

MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for P3300 devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the P3300 owner.

Here an application example:

Imaging, your cellular P3300 has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the P3300
• You can locate your P3300 (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen P3300 contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The P3300 owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary P3300 PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this P3300, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every P3300 supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your P3300 using any other cellular P3300 (no P3300 required!). No internet access is necessary. The P3300 replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
